Tue 22 May 2012

Friends

Pupils and staff from the Art and Design Department at Friends’ School have taken part in a huge donation event for NEST.

Paula McPoland, Art Teacher at Friends’ has been delighted by the response across the School,

“The enthusiasm pupils and staff have shown for this project is reflected in the diverse range of objects we have collected. By attaching a NEST label and recording their stories, each individual is playing a part. We are delighted to welcome Cathie McKimm, NEST Project Manager, to Friends’ today and by presenting her with these donations, our school community is becoming part of an historic national event and celebration.”

In recognition of the one hundred objects donated by Friends’ School, NEST plan to make a contribution of £100 to the Simon Community.

If you have a group interested in donating to NEST contact Cathie McKimm by e-mail info@2012nest.com
